If you’ve ever been hesitant about ordering your bathroom furniture and fixtures on line please read my review. During the past few months I have ordered the majority of my bathroom fixtures from Home and Stone for my four bathrooms. I have had a wonderful experience from Joe, my salesman, Sol from customer service, and last but not least to the delivery man, Butch. The first time Butch delivered my order he took the time to open the boxes to make sure nothing was damaged. When he brought my order yesterday he offered to open the items again even though it was snowing significantly. I even bought the wrong size vanities in one order and when I had to have Home and Stone send them back, Sol not only went above and beyond good customer service by minimizing my costs , but also made it effortless, in addition to not making me feel like a pest. Not only will I continue to purchase from Home and Stone but, have and will, continually tell everyone I know to do the same.

Quick shipping and just as expected

It's difficult to find a cabinet-type vanity for a small bathroom (less than 24" of available space). We found a nice 20" vanity and sink, ordered it on Sunday, and received it on Thursday. It is exactly as the site depicted - we are very happy.

Shopping Experience

I ordered an air MAXX Air Tub from you guys. It arrived and part of the order was not shipped. I called Home and Stone the day it arrived and the person stated the part would be shipped out the next day. Also the Air pump was damaged because the air pump was only bolted on with one leg instead of two. The tub is shipped standing up so the pump was hanging by one leg which was plastic so it broke off. Your return department resolved that issue also by contacting the manufacture, which stated they would be shipping out a new air pump to me. I ordered a faucet , the faucet is factory delayed. So that stinks but I can only hope it's in the first batch of po's grohe has. Meanwhile however Sammy, Joe and I believe Dave totally helped me. We purchased the Madison Vanity Set Complete Dark Cherry (Granite Top: Coral Brown Top,Sink: Biscuit Bowl). I had looked everywhere for hardware for a large custom piece. There was a minimum order of 10 on the hardware I wanted to see. Your sales staff quickly sent out one which i was thrilled with and then I called to order additional pieces. What takes three weeks with other companies took only 1 1/2 weeks with Home & Stone!

Execellent customer service

During the ordering process I called customer service to ask questions regarding the order and they were very helpful. I made a follow up call after ordering to inquire about delivery date. They were very accomodating and were able to give me an exact date as well as a 2 hour window for delivery. The products were as noted on the website and as described to me over the phone and were good quality. Overall, their customer service was excellent and I would definitely order from them again. One further point to note--at least one other website noted that they had "free shipping" as did Home and Stone, but when you actually went to order, shipping was "free" but they wanted to charge high freight charges (about one third of the price of the items ordered).

Six months after the sale we had an installation problem. With one email we were able to obtain the appropriate number for the distributor. When I went online (saw the vanity in a flyer at a cabinet shop), the ordering process was very easy. The most amazing thing was I received several hundred dollars off due to shopping online that particular weekend. Whether I actually saved that much or not I don't know but it made me feel like I did.

Delivery was a bit interesting. I checked the shippers site as stated in the email I received. I called and was told I would receive a call 24 hrs. in advance. The sink arrived in perfect condition - it is beautiful! It did take a few weeks, but I understand that the sink was being carved to order. I was told this when I called Home & Stone, who proivided me with the phone number for Stone Forest (where the sink was coming from). I think that this information could have been provided up-front in my order confirmation so that I didn't ahve to do the work to track it down. Buying something expensive and so far away was a bit of challenge on my part. I have heard so many bad things about N.Y. city and buying from stores there it was scary to do business, However, this wasn't the city and I saw a store front, not much like a watch store, especially Bulova. And when I called on Sat. to confirm and ask afor a tracking # just to find out it was closed to celebrate the Sabbath, I was relieved even though I am not a believer.

Fast Turnaround for KWC Luna Faucet

After a horrible experience trying to purchase a faucet from another online provider, I turned to Homeandstone to purchase a KWC Luna faucet. The journey started with a chat session to confirm availability. It was great to have an instant verification. Once I placed the order, the merchandise was in my hands in less than a week. My only 'gripe' is that the faucet appears to have been a customer return. I say that because the unit was missing its O-rings and was packed directly in the styrofoam container without any plastic bag to prevent tiny foam balls from clinging to the unit while unpacking. Fortunately, my contractor had a supply of O-rings on hand and the substandard packaging did not result in any scratches. I would certainly consider Homeandstone for future purchases.

I am very happy so far with the products-i think they will look great in my new kitchen. however when i purchased the sink on line it did not indicate that it came with two draincovers so i ended up purchasing two draincovers and now i have to return them. i had also spoken to customer service when i was purchasing the order and i had problems trying to purchase the two draincovers at the discounted price and no one said to me that do you know that covers come with the sink. other than that everyone was helpful

I cannot believe I got such a beautiful vanity for such a low price! We are building a new house and our powder room is VERY small. I needed a vanity that was less than 23" wide. Broken Counter-No Problem!

I just wanted to express my gratitude to those who work at Home and Stone. When the Carrera Marble counter top that I purchesed with a vanity arrived broken in half, I thought I was doomed to eat the cost, being that I had purchased it over the computer and had no face to face contact with a person. Ronbow Lavatory and cabinet

Vanity door was damaged. H&S promptly sent replacement. However the cabinet inside the vanity was scratched/gouged probably from the damaged door. I sucked it up and ignored it because I didn't want to deal with the giant re-packing job to send it back. Wish they would have inspected it better. Wish Ronbow/trucking company would not have sent a damaged unit to H&S. If I get ambitious I'll send for a touch up kit.

I am in the process of finishing our recently purchased home. I had been looking for some time for the perfect vanity for my powder room. Hard to find wall tub set

I needed a wall mounted tub set and it needed to be in polished nickel.

I have sometimes had difficulty ordering products on the internet that were not in stock. Some companies either are not responsive or mislead under the circumstances.

Not so with Home and Stone and Customer Service representative David. Home and Stone delivered the faucet in stock within two days! of ordering. One faucet was delayed a week and they let me know right away. The other faucet, unfortunately, was backordered from the factory.

Fantastic Customer Service

I had ordered a sink from their website because I found the one I wanted for $200 less then at local stores. I received the sink within a couple of weeks, but unfortunately the corner of the basin was dented. I called immediately, but given the three hour time difference I got a voicemail. I left a message and I received an email the next morning to call Sol. I called and he actually answered his phone. I sent photos of the damage and within a day or two I received return instructions and return label. Once they received the damaged sink a new one was sent within a week. We got the new one and it is in perfect condition. I was just so pleased at how effortless they made the exchange. It is rare these days to find such exceptional customer service. I remodeled my bathroom and in the process removed all the brass fixtures and replaced them with brushed nickel so I was looking for accessories to put on my new granite counter tops that would enhance the new bathroom look. On the home and stone website, I found a lovely porcelain vanity tray with brushed nickel trim. When it arrived after shipping, it was damaged. I called the next day to report the damage, was emailed a fedex return label and the very next day before the damaged product was even picked up, my replacement vanity tray had arrived. I was very happy with the product. My understanding was that the delivery was free. However you need to know that the delivery service did not want to unload it off the truck and told me it would be an extra fee of about 100 dollars. He did it anyway and placed it in the garage. If this is the understanding you have with this delivery service, it needs to be made known to the customer. I would not have been able to get the furniture off the truck by myself, let alone carry it to the house.

Better be ready to meet your delivery man because they ship lightning fast. I am more than pleased with the craftsmanship and quality of the vanity and the mirror. I have a jewel of a bathroom now. I cannot say enough about this company. We did have a problem with sink size, but, again, supersonic delivery time made that little more than a wrinkle in the scheme of things. Over the weekend I re-read the order and noted a digit was missing from the shipping address street address. I placed an order for Porcher shower and sink fixtures and accessories, as well as a Porcher Stanza vanity and sink. My order was placed on a Sunday and actually had the transport driver try to deliver the product to me on Wednesday. Since I wasn't home, the delivery was made the next day. Bathroom remodel

I cannot speak highly enough of Home & Stone. I ordered over $5,000.00 worth bathroom fixtures. Needless to say I was a bit worried about trusting such a large purchase to an online order company. I had nothing to be concerned about. My order started arriving within just a few days. Everything was at my home in less than two weeks. When there was a problem with items being flawed, they were very responsive and had a replacement item at my home as promptly as possible. I expected a run around because I was in Virginia and the company is based in New York. I was pleasantly surprised again. Sol was helpful and tirelessly worked to make things right! Don't hesitate to order from Home & Stone. Their prices were the best and on one item that was not the best price, they matched the other companies price. The only warning I must give is be careful ordering Porcher products. Home & Stone took care of the problems that came up but Porcher does not seem to have good quality control and sends out products with flaws. The faucets were beautiful and work wonderfully but their porcelain sinks and toilets are another matter. For the prices Porcher charges for their products I would expect perfection.

I rarely write tetimonials because I believe that all companies should provide good customer service. I ordered two Robern sconces. One had a scratch on the backplate. I spoke with Sol in customer service and recieved a replacement in about a week. All e-mails were answered very quickly, and I recieved two phone messages letting me know exactly what they were doing with my order. When all does not go as planed

After searching for weeks for just the right Jacuzzi Bath tub, I found it at Home & Stone (they also had the best price.)
The ordering on line was easy and fast. When I inquired about the shipping (which was free,) the reply came quickly and accurate. However upon arrival the tub was damaged (due to shipping comp.) I had to reject it and send it back. Again I e-mailed and told Home & Stone about the problem they immediately ordered a replacement, informed me of the new arrival time and it got here in time to finish the remodeling in the house. I think the measure of a company is not how quickly it can place an order, but how it handles any problems that arise. For my kitchen remodel, I used a few different internet sites to order fixtures, hardware, sinks etc. Home and Stone handled the order very efficiently and was very customer service oriented. Unfortunately, during shipment from the manufacturer, one item (the soap dispenser) arrived broken. Mark at Home and Stone was always professional during several of our phone calls and went above and beyond in making sure that this problem was resolved! Unfortunately for me, I did not have a good experience at a different company for other items that I ordered.

I would buy from again

When it came time to remodel our kitchen I was a bit shocked at how much the sinks we wanted were going to cost us at the local big box stores and plumbing supply houses. I decided to look on eBay and came across prices that were too good to be true, it made me skeptical until... I checked the sellers feedback and saw that it was outstanding. There were many repeat customers who had nothing but good things to say. Since I had a tight deadline on my remodel I decided to call the store and talk to someone to make sure what I needed was in fact in stock. I spoke to David and found out that for the sinks I wanted they used the same type of fulfillment process that the local plumbing supply house was going to use, except in this case it was hundreds cheaper. I went ahead with the purchase and sure enough just as described I received the first of my two sinks in 2 days. The second one is coming today from a different warehouse but I have no doubt it will be exactly as described.

Joe, received all of the cabinets today, appx. 3 weeks ahead of schedule, in perfect condition, and they are nicer than they appear on your site. Could not be more pleased!!!! I was in search of a certain fire clay since for quite sometime. Every where I searched the prices were nearly 1K. I found this website and got the same item for under $600 plus there wasn't shipping or tax! When it was delivered I was concerned that there would be damage because it's size and weight. Great prices - Great delivery. Home and Stone made my kitchen renovation complete.

When our bathroom items were delivered the vanity came damaged and I immediately called Home and Stone to report the damage. They assured me that the following week the vanity will be delivered and not to worry. The truck driver was very helpful. The following week as promised the new vanity arrived. Again the same truck driver was more than helpful in inspecting the vanity for damage. There was none. I also want to thank Mark and Sam for being extremely courteous and helpful. Without them and the truck driver this may have been a disaster. Thank you one and all for making this a very positive experience.

I submitted a price request and along with the quote, I received an email with a name, phone #, and email address just in case I needed help. I have to say that this was a nice touch and helped with my decision to order from you.

I had a question after placing my order, so I called the number. I got someone live, but was told that the specialist wasn't available so he'd have to call me back. He called me within the hour, and besides answering my question, he was able to help me with a product that wasn't on your website. AND, he gave me a very competitive price on it.

Finally, I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks for the shipment. One item arrived within a few days; and the other one came in 10 calendar days.

I am so incredibly impressed with your company. I ordered a Rohl RC3018 fireclay sink online on Sunday night and it was delivered to my home on Friday. This feat is even more amazing when you consider that the sink left New York and made it to Houston, Texas in that time frame! I would have difficulty driving that far in that few days.

Furthermore, the sink was brand new, in perfect condition, delivered by an amicable person, and at an incredible price with no tax and free shipping. Your company is just amazing!

I love my Malibu Cabinet

I took a chance and ordered the Malibu cabinet that I saw on line in a random internet search. The search began when I couldn't find a product in a style that I wanted for a resonable price.

I ordered my entire bathroom set from Home and Stone, including the vanity and accessories. I was extremely happy with the way it was all carefully wrapped and protected for shippment. The pieces are beautiful, however I ordered the set based on the lighter wood shown in the picture and the red oak was delivered instead, thankfully it works ok but I also emailed someone about this concern but he never responded. I was not a big fan of the lack of communication or customer service you offer via email and think you should display pictures on your website that look like the product people are ordering. When I was able to get someone on the phone, they couldn't be more helpful and that is truly appreciated.

I shop online frequently, and I consider myself a fairly good judge of online shopping experiences. homeandstone.com is pretty darn good. They ship things quickly, and they have many items in stock . The website, though maybe not layed out the best or has the most functionality, definitely does get the job done. I purchased a Whitehaus WHC-5020 from them, mainly because I was too lazy to go to a store but actually the had the best price out there, and it worked out well. It came when expected, they called and scheduled a time for delivery. I had it installed the next day, no problems, and nothing missing.

I just wanted to take the time to say that my experience with home and stone and the personel that work there has been a very positive one. I recently made a sizable order to redo two bathrooms in my home. Dave in sales, over the phone helped me manuver through the website and we were able to put together some out of this world bathrooms. First of all the products are outstanding in quality. I couldn't be more happy with them. Well maybe if someone else paid for them but aside from that, its all good. Again, I need to address daves help in this. He was really knowledgable and positive and noncondescending with my obvious lack of knowledge in the area of bathroom design. There were tons of doodads and gizmos needed to finish the project and everyhthing was ordered perfectly. That never happens. Anyway, I did run into a couple of snaphews and Frank in customer service must be Daves clone because he did everything he could do to make me a happy customer. --and I am. Easy shopping

Your online checkout process is the best! Simple, easy, no-fuss. Some of the KWC faucets I looked at were missing the tech drawings, and it would be nice to have easy access to the installation instructions (some etailers provide links to those), but otherwise your site was easy to use.
